My Iron Man 2 review

Iron Man 2

Director: Jon Faverau
Robert Downey Jr.-Tony Stark/Iron Man
Don Cheadle-Lt. James Rhodes/War Maching
Gwyenth Paltrow-Pepper Potts
Scarlett Johansson-Natasha Romanoff
Samuel L. Jackson-Nick Fury
Sam Rockwell-Justin Hammer
Mickey Rourke-Ivan Vanko

Visuals:
Stunning. Gorgeous. Everything I had imagined and more. Jon Faverau is a underrated director in my opinion. Every action scene was perfect. He and his team did it again. 10/10

Acting:
There were some good and some alright acting. Robert was very good. He was very lively with his role again. Everyone else was good as well. Scarlett was the only one that I would say that didn't do as well as everyone else. The one person that I would say stole the show would be is Sam Rockwell. He took his role to the next level. I enjoyed his role more than anyone else. 7.5/10

Story:
I really liked the story. I liked how the writers wrote in Tony's drinking problems that he began to have. I didn't understand why they made Mickey Rourke's role the way they did. He was mixture of 2 villians: Crimson Dynamo and Whiplash but was still called Whiplash, even though it was never said once in the movie. Also, there are a lot of references for the upcoming Marvel movies such as Thor, Captain America, and more importantly The Avengers. So if you aren't a fanboy, you may not understand what is going on, but if you are a fanboy, enjoy what is in store. It's really good. Overall I really liked how the story was written. 8/10

Overall, I would rank this superhero sequel right up there with Spider-man 2, X-men 2, and even The Dark Knight. The reason to see this movie is to see Sam Rockwell and his amazing performance.

Oh, also stay after the credits for a little sneak peak at something else

I give this movie 8.75 out of 10
